How to Chose a DJ
Most couples have never hired a DJ before and really don't know where to begin. Dj's have different styles, personalities and experience. Since this is one of the most important days of your life it is good to take your time in choosing one. Here are some common tips to help make a good choice.
1 Don't buy by price and expect to pay more for a professional than you may have budgeted. The best DJ's don't give discounts because they don't need too.
2 Take time to find out about their emcee style. A great DJ does not talk too much or too little and is trained in this area. Poor emcee skills can ruin an otherwise great event. DJ Z is a trained emcee.
3 Ask what attire they wear. Have you heard the saying dress for success? A great wedding DJ wears attire that matches the best dressed person at the wedding and sets the standard for your event . Polo shirts and dockers are no go.
4 Ask them about the type of equipment they use. DJ Z uses the latest and best equipment available. A professional DJ always has backup gear because they are prepared.
5 A DJ that responds to your emails or texts quickly show you are a priority. Your time is valuable.
6 It is very important to get on a call with a potential DJ. While collecting information thru email is ok, the only way you will know if the DJ is a good fit for you is by getting on a call.
